3D For Good Challenge 2024
The 3D For Good Challenge 2024 is now open for applications!
3D For Good Challenge is a newly introduced competition for this year, with the theme of “Hong Kong Culture.” In teams of two to five members, participants need to create and sculpt models using software such as Nomad Sculpt, Blender or other 3D design platforms. The final works will be displayed after printing and coloring. Every school may nominate a maximum of 5 teams. This competition will also feature the “Teacher’s Most Participating Appreciation Award”, which will be awarded to the top 5 teachers who have nominated the most students.

Theme
- Hong Kong Culture
Suggestions:
- Historical Architecture: Participants can create Hong Kong’s historical buildings, such as pre-war tenement buildings, old-style residences, or temples.
- Hong Kong Landmarks: Participants can create Hong Kong’s landmarks, such as the Golden Bauhinia Square, fruit stalls, IFC Tower, or the Convention and Exhibition Centre.
- Hong Kong Scenery: Participants can create objects that represent Hong Kong’s unique features, such as cha chaan teng (Hong Kong-style tea restaurants), neon signs, common local food, or old shops.
Submission
Each team submits two links. Only ONE submission is needed each team.
1st Link: 3D Model File
- Create and sculpt models using software such as Nomad Sculpt, Blender or other 3D design platforms.
- The dimensions of the model should be within the specified range of 20cm x 20cm x 20cm
- Submit your 3D Model file to a cloud drive such as Google Drive / Dropbox in stl., obj. format
